Our purpose

The purpose of the Stony Plain Horticultural Society is to foster and promote horticulture of the highest quality possible amongst its members and in the community.

Meeting Details

Monthly general meetings will be held in the drama room of the Stony Plain High School, 50 Westerra Centre Doors open at 7:00  p.m., meeting takes place at 7:30 p.m. (look for our signs).

Membership

Any person may become a member at any time on payment of a $10.00 fee. Membership entitles one to vote and / or hold office in the society and to participate in award competitions. Children under the age of 18 may enter competitions without the requirement of a membership fee.

The Garden Tour Committee would like to thank all the wonderful gardeners who welcomed the public into their beautiful gardens on the weekend of July 17th and 18th for our Annual Yard and Garden Tour. They received many compliments from their visitors, and they deserved them all. The weather co-operated, and a good time was had by everyone. Thank you to all the gardeners, to all the visitors, to the Committee, and to all who contributed to the success of the weekend. Thank you.
