Guest Speaker: Jen Gruninger

Topic: Growing Garden Fresh Flowers

Inspired by her grandmother’s techniques, Jen will share her story about growing garden fresh flowers.
Jen started Farm Fresh Florals in Leduc County, Alberta, in 2017, offering locally field grown cut flowers to the Edmonton Area. Influenced by the Seed to Vase movement and her heritage, Jen is inspired with her hands in the dirt nurturing her crop. The resulting pride and satisfaction of connecting consumers to locally grown, seasonal flowers is immeasurable to Jen.
Jen is currently attending the Master Gardening Program at the University of Alberta Botanic Gardens to gain further knowledge and expertise about successfully growing in a Northern climate.
